practices, monitoring and advising on legal updates

- Advising on violence prevention

- Structuring the hiring process
to mitigate risk (employment applications, interview
protocols, onboarding)
- Providing risk assessment of
employment decisions (hiring, termination, discipline)
- Assisting in managing government
workplace audits
- Establishing effective use
of background checks

The firm drafts, review and negotiates
employment contracts, non-competition, non-solicitation
and non-disclosure agreements, separation agreements
and settlement agreements. The firm also drafts and
provides legal review for employee handbooks, standard
operating procedures and employment policies.
The firm represents companies in pre-litigation phases
of discrimination disputes, including responding to
charges of discrimination at the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and the New York State Division of Human
Rights.
